Housekeeping

I've been doing stuff with Elsa, museum outside inside stuff. Currently she's saying, "Where's the bug mommy?" "Look in room." "Dudde" "Where's bug? Mommy!" I don't even know what she's talking about.
Anyways, I've also been joining artfire (previous post) and today, 1000Markets, which looks pretty freakin cool. I wanted to post a master list mainly for my own reference, but feel free to click away.

Here was my first craft fair set up! I sold three things, a cuff, a scarf and a washcloth set. Not bad. I'm already getting excited for seasons of crafts in December!

Totally Crazy

I've had this huge burst of business energy since returning from my trip to Colorado. I've redesigned my blog. Redid all the graphics for my two etsy stores. I bought a flickr pro account and have been uploading like crazy. I started a new project wonderful ad campaign. Basically I've made a recommitment to focusing on etsy instead of wasting time surfing the net. Though, I admit, I still do that a whole lot too! (Confession: I love reading celebrity gossip! I totally need to go to barnes n noble so I can Meet Vivienne & Knox Jolie-Pitt in the latest issue of People magazine.)
I've also been buying a lot of stuff. It's a friends and my moms birthday this month so I've made a few etsy purchases (Including two crocheted worms for myself. hehehe). I've also been dealing with two etsy disputes. Two people have not delivered goods to me so that's really sucked. Thankfully both orders were under $15, so if I never get a refund, I won't be out TOO much money.
So anyways, that's the most exciting news, other than my local etsy team, Lincoln Handmade, meets tonight. Hopefully that will be fun!

Funky

I've been in a little bit of a funk the past couple of days. I haven't really posted anything new in my stores, just been doing a bit of relisting. I haven't created any new ACEOS, but I have been working on some digital art that I would like to sell prints of. On the crochet front- I'm almost done with a jellyfish- he will be called Piccasso, he is white with some fancy rainbow bits.

I just thought I would give you a little peek in to my studio and let you see what normally is in here- my daughter, my small aceo collection, a mess and me.

Art and Cameras

Well I broke my camera a day or two ago. It was a PowerShot A520. I had gotten some moisture on the lens and I was pushing on it, wiping it off and I pushed it in a little (it was zoomed out) now it is stuck, and from what I hear, trash. SOOO, I'm thinking of upgrading slightly, going with a Powershot 570. It's not too expensive- under $200 and I was pretty happy with the Canon I just broke, so I think I'll just get another one.
In other news- I have made some great digital art that I'm thinking of trying to sell on http://chimeracreation.etsy.com So far I have made 4 collages. I also have some photographs I have taken that I might list. Right now I am ordering some test prints to help me decide where I want to get them printed at.
