I found a beautiful postcard sent from Norway to "Nord America" in the 1900s at an antique shop the other day. The writing on it was so exquisite, I knew I needed it for my art. I made this ACEO, "Sparrow Norway Rabbit" out of it. I used the postcard and the stamp as well as some angora rabbit fur. I think it turned out quite lovely.

I guess someone sent the card to a relative that had moved to "Nord America". They should have had blogs back then. So much faster, but not necessarily more beautiful. We do not see so much lovely handwrithing any more.
